Nice photo, but chronologically a bit confusing. The aircraft is in pre WWII navy colors, with post WWII insignia, with a 1920s car. Nonetheless, that's a beauty of an airplane. Reminds me of a Grumman Cheetah I flew done in WWII Navy colors. Neat car too.

Also, Model A's were made from 1928-31. This car is either a '28 or '29. 1923 was the Model T era.

Model A Fords were first built in late 1927. They are generally classified as 1928-31
